Discount Codes & Family Discounts
KoachSynk lets you offer two types of discounts on registration fees: Discount Codes and Family Discounts.
Discount Codes
Discount codes are custom promo codes that registrants can enter during checkout to receive a flat dollar amount off the registration fee.
How to create a discount code:
- Go to Manage Seasons & Registrations (or edit an existing Quick Registration)
- Open the division you want to add a code to
- Scroll down to the Discounts & Promotions section
- Under Discount Codes, fill in:
- Code — the code families will type in (e.g., EARLYBIRD, COACH50)
- Value ($) — the dollar amount off
- Max Uses — how many times it can be used (0 = unlimited)
- Description — optional note for your reference
- Click Add
Note: You must save the division first before you can add discount codes. If
you're creating a new Quick Registration, save it first, then edit it to add codes.
Managing discount codes:
- Activate/Deactivate — toggle a code on or off without deleting it
- Delete — permanently remove a code (only if it has 0 uses)
- You can see how many times each code has been used
Family Discount
The family discount automatically gives a flat dollar amount off for the 2nd, 3rd, and additional children from the same family registering anywhere in the same season.
How it works:
- In the division settings, set the Family Discount amount (e.g., $25.00)
- Families are matched by their guardian email address across all divisions in the same season
- The first child pays full price
- Each additional child gets the discount applied automatically at checkout
Example: Registration is $100 with a $25 family discount.
- 1st child: $100
- 2nd child: $75
- 3rd child: $75
Set the family discount to $0 to disable it.
