Team Superlatives
Superlatives let teams vote on fun awards at the end of the season—like "Most Improved," "Best Teammate," or "Hardest Worker." It is a great way to celebrate players beyond just statistics.
What Are Superlatives?
Superlatives are team awards that recognize players for qualities that do not show up in stats:
- Most Improved Player
- Best Teammate
- Hardest Worker
- Most Coachable
- Best Attitude
- Most Valuable Player (MVP)
- And custom categories you create
Setting Up Superlatives (Coaches)
To Create Voting:
- Go to your team page
- Click Superlatives in the team menu
- Click Create New Superlative
- Enter the award name and description
- Set voting dates (when voting opens and closes)
- Choose who can vote (players, parents, coaches)
- Save
Voting Process
For Voters:
- Go to the team page when voting is open
- Click Superlatives
- Select your vote for each category
- Submit your votes
Note: Each person can only vote once per category. Votes are anonymous.
Viewing Results
- Results are hidden until voting closes
- Coaches can view results after the voting period ends
- Winners can be announced at end-of-season events
- Results show vote counts and percentages
Best Practices
- Open voting near the end of the season
- Give at least a few days for everyone to vote
- Remind the team to participate
- Keep categories positive and inclusive
- Announce winners at a team party or final practice
