What is a Team Poll?

Polls let coaches ask their team multiple questions at once — from simple yes/no checks to longer questionnaires. Think of it like a Google Form built into your team.

For Coaches: Creating a Poll

1. From your team page, open the Polls tab
2. Click Create New Poll
3. Give the poll a title and (optional) description
4. Add questions — up to 25 per poll
5. For each question, choose the type:
   • Multiple Choice — single answer from your list
   • Checkboxes — select all that apply
   • Yes / No — quick binary question
   • Short Text — single-line answer
   • Long Text — paragraph-style answer
6. Decide if responses are private (only the coaches and managers (with permission) see them) or shared (everyone sees responses)
7. Optionally set a deadline so the poll auto-closes
8. Link the poll to a specific event if you want
9. Click Create Poll — team members automatically receive a push notification and email

For Players and Guardians: Responding to a Poll

When a poll opens, you'll see a push notification and an email. You'll also see a badge on your team's Polls tab showing how many open polls you haven't answered yet.

1. Open the Polls tab on your team page
2. Tap the poll you want to respond to
3. Answer each question in order
4. Tap Submit when finished

You can update your responses any time before the deadline.

Viewing Results

Coaches can view responses in real time and export the full data as a CSV (one column per question). If a poll's visibility is set to shared, all team members can see how others answered.
