Getting Started as a Parent or Guardian
Welcome to KoachSynk! As a parent or guardian, you can stay connected to your child's team, view schedules, communicate with coaches, and never miss an important update.
What You Can Do
- View your child's team schedule (games, practices, events)
- Receive push notifications for schedule changes
- Message coaches directly
- Set your child's availability for events
- View practice plans before practices
- Track your child's stats throughout the season
Accessing Your Account
Logging In:
- Go to koachsynk.com or open the mobile app
- Enter your username and password
- You'll see your Guardian Dashboard with all linked children
Mobile App:
Download the free KoachSynk app for iOS or Android to get:
- Push notifications for schedule changes
- Quick access to team schedules
- Easy messaging with coaches
- View practice plans on the go
Viewing Your Child's Schedule
- From the dashboard, click on your child's name
- Select the team you want to view
- Click Schedule to see all upcoming events
- Tap any event for details (location, time, notes)
Setting Availability
Let the coach know if your child can attend an event:
- Go to the team schedule
- Click on the event
- Select Available, Maybe, or Unavailable
- Optionally add a note (e.g., "Will arrive 10 minutes late")
Tip: Coaches appreciate knowing attendance in advance. Update availability as soon as you know!
Communicating with Coaches
- Use the Messages feature to contact coaches
- Keep messages relevant to team activities
- Check for team announcements regularly
Multiple Children?
If you have multiple children on different teams:
- All children appear on your Guardian Dashboard
- Switch between children easily
- Each child's teams and schedules are separate
- One login manages all your children
